Community Safety Network offers a Junior Advocate Program for teens of the Jackson Hole community. The lessons and activities for this program focus on teaching adolescents about the dynamics of caring relationships and unhealthy relationships in an 8 week training course - meeting once per week for an hourly session.

Community Safety Network is committed to the prevention of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and stalking. Community education and awareness is the key to the success of that mission. CSN is one of a few programs of its kind with dedicated education and outreach staff who are available to customize free trainings and presentations to any audience. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Staff trainings on domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking
  • Creating a policy for domestic violence in the workplace
  • Responding to domestic violence as an educator
  • A healthcare provider's response to domestic violence
  • Responding to domestic violence as a social service organization
  • How to talk to someone you suspect is being abused
  • The effects of domestic violence on children
  • Sexual harassment
  • Sexual assault awareness
  • How to respond if you suspect an employee is being abused/is an abuser

In addition to the many adult programs offered, CSN has also developed a complete curriculum through the Junior Advocate program to educate young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, sexual assault awareness, peer advocacy, and teen dating violence.
